Nature Study - Marian Flowers

A classical drawing course with a focus on Marian themed flowers! Draw from original photographs, learn Marian Flowers, and their symbolism. A wonderful course for Catholic children, adults or anyone interested in learning more about the Blessed Mother of God and the flowers that represent her.

Students will:

  • Practice drawing from observation
  • Practice geometry
  • Learn Marian symbols
  • Practice with watercolor
  • Practice realism
  • Practice perspective
  • Practice value and shading

Required Materials:

  • watercolor paper (hot press is smoother and preferred, cold press will be used for deomstration)
  • pencil
  • eraser
  • ruler
  • watercolors
  • 1 piece of cardstock
